Here's my secret to building an effective coaching program. You ready for this? 1. 25 years experience building businesses and sales teams. 2. Teaching concepts I've learned and pioneered over a career of trial and error. 3. Failing miserably and learning from those mistakes. The point here is that your coaching program won't be effective for the people who take it unless the instructor(you) has put in the time to earn the knowledge you are looking to share. Don't confuse sales with effectiveness. Sales are largely a byproduct of marketing in coaching programs. Effectiveness means people got great results from your content. Effectiveness only comes from a base of great knowledge and experience.

Ensure that above all that the sales team has every resource available to meet the goals set! I learned the number one rule in sales 30 years ago from our founder and he calmly stated , if you are not in front of someone you can not sell your product . He made sure that all the clerical was handled by office staff so we could be in front of clients .

Goals!!! You live by them and you die by them! They cause happiness and stress. They allow you to dig deep and find what it takes to meet those goals and be the best you can be! Goals are what makes a good sales rep a great sales rep. You have to have them to gauge who you are and where you are headed
