It can be hard to pinpoint the value we deliver. Return on investment can be hard to measure or highlight when it is an intangible like "increased confidence", "a feeling of better fit", "contentment". This is one of the things I find hardest to "price" but at the same time the most important as the basis for working with others. They are not buying my time they are buying my effort. Sometimes a 15 minute coaching session is as impactful and valuable as six months or a year of coaching twice a month! And so often the people who most want and need coaching are able to recognize its value but may not be able to afford that price.

Por un lado, puede evaluar si el estilo del coach se acompasa con su estilo y con lo que necesita en ese momento, si las propuestas que se realizan le suman para avanzar, si hay sintonía para facilitar su apertura y confianza. First identify what value you create for customers, based on the size of your projects would you be able to build a sustainable line of business from 20-0.5% out of the net value you generate - the larger the project the lower the share you get. If not, you first need to see how can you create more value first and then to evaluate how can you obtain the same with less cost. Scaling and automating processes that do not generate substantial value do not help neither the customer nor the consultant.

The consulting rates dilemma was solved many years ago. Stand in front of the mirror and state the highest rate you can without laughing. Done. There are more market and value based methods but not as fun.
