knowing your audience and why they are attending, it is key. You share your experiences and taht includes shared feelings that they may encounter. make it human instead of a masterclass. What went worng and what works are useful tips for them. Convey value than just watching a video, there is a big opportunity to interact and make it dynamic.

Storytelling is a great way to craft your message. Be open and honest and find how you can relate to what they are going through. Sometimes making fun of yourself is a great way to break through any walls they may have up. Be human, be relateable, make them laugh.

I've had some great success using AI to help increase the value and takeaways for crafting my message. I only use it as a tool to help brainstorm content ideas. The editing and adding stories to flesh it out.

I would say that the most important part of a workshop is the active engagement of the participants. It's about their learning journey not our presentation. I practice the "I do, We do, You do" framework in my workshops. 1. "I do" (Demonstration) I demonstrate the skill or concept Participants observe and ask questions This stage sets the foundation for learning 2. "We do" (Guided Practice) Participants and I work together Participants start to engage more actively The facilitator provides support and immediate feedback 3. "You do" (Independent Practice) Participants work independently or in small groups They apply what they've learned without direct facilitator input An effective approach to skill acquisition and builds confidence.

The real value of a workshop is realised when participants apply what they've learned in their day-to-day work. Some strategies to Encourage Application: 1. Action Planning: End the workshop with participants creating specific, actionable plans. 2. Microlearning Follow-ups: Send bite-sized reminders and tips post-workshop. 3. Peer Accountability Groups: Form small groups for participants to check in with each other. 4. Manager Involvement: Brief managers on workshop content and how to support their team's implementation. 5. Real-world Projects: Assign projects that require the application of new skills. 6. Coaching Sessions: Offer one-on-one or group coaching to address implementation challenges.

The key to seriously impactful sales coaching is making it specific to them. Meet with key stakeholders ahead of the training, listen to sales calls if possible, identify the most common objections, understand their sales process, get to know their people as much as you can, and build the training around that information. For scalability, most write a training and give it to all groups the same way. Cookie cutter, out of the box, regurgitated training is losing it’s place in this space.
