Without getting too caught up on semantics, I think it's important to help teams see the multiple definitions that team members may have about what creativity is. Many confuse creativity with artistic ability. This is just one of many types of creativity. Brainstorming, poetry, journalling, creative writing are just a few of the many others. By showing the range that creativity encompasses, it reveals many more ways that team members can share their ideas in a way that aligns with their style and preferences.

I love the idea of creating a series of experiments. The aim for each experiment is to learn something new. There is no failure. Instead, I think of FAIL as For All I Learned. This progressive iteration moves you closer and closer to the desired outcome. Protecting the time to invest is also key. It's so easy to get distracted by the day to day.
