Through building in two main fields, aerospace and medical wearables I have learned quite a lot through failure. The most important aspect of building is the iterative process of failure. In propulsion design there is a constant trial and error. You choose the best design with the information given, then you learn more and you have to adapt your design to this. In the medical field it was prototyping, you write out your design matrix, sketch, model, print, build, and then you find out the patients don't find it as comfortable. Failure is the only way to make something valuable. The problem lies when engineers hold onto their designs and never publish, try, or show.

En muchas ocasiones me he sentido como un detective, interrogando a diversas personas sobre el incidente, analizando minuciosamente las pocas fotografías disponibles e intuyendo que el origen del error no se encontraba donde inicialmente se pensaba. Un sistema robusto de gestión de incidencias y recopilación de datos de calidad es fundamental para mejorar nuestros procesos y prevenir futuros errores

User feedback is the backbone of what differentiates design from Art.
