One of the best things you can do during an internship is to jump right in and take on every assignment that you are tasked with. You’re not expected to know exactly what to do, and that’s where you get to develop these critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Be a sponge, and soak in all the information and experiences!

I find it super helpful to take notes of what I do during each day of my internship. Who I worked with, what tasks I was assigned, what questions and challenges I had, etc. When reflecting back, these notes help me to see how much I accomplished, what I liked and didn’t, and what I learned.

Realize where are and where you want to be Don't be afraid to fail especially at the more complex tasks, they will eventually become simpler as you grow and learn more following the other key advices above, Realize it's a journey, but don't be afraid to take on the challenging tasks and ask for help when needed, Follow the roadmap as each step brings you closer to the next one above.

Put effort into building relationships with your coworkers and fellow interns. Don’t just introduce yourself and network, actually spend time getting to know those you are working with. Ask people in your intern class to grab lunch with you or take a quick walk break. These people are potentially your future coworkers, so get to know them. You need to put effort into getting to know your team because much of their feedback on you goes into your return offer decision. They’re also taking time to teach and mentor you, so make sure to show them gratitude.
