It’s easy to say the right things, but leaders always need to back their words with actions. And it's key to be genuine because employees can tell if leaders are not sincere :) By the way: to me a "leader" is not only limited to people leaders. Informal leaders, technical leaders and project leaders also have huge impact in terms of leadership and role modeling.

Important challenges I see: keeping communication clear and overcoming the fear of losing control. But the rewards are worth it.
