I’ve survived a number of layoffs/cuts… my advice BE TEACHABLE. If you are resentful of corrections/markups, hard to work with and abrasive in how you coach or manage your team you won’t last long. You can be slow and steady but thorough, and you’ll stay longer than the fast but inaccurate folks. Work ebbs and flows, be dynamic in your skills and move where the work takes you. Field in the spring/fall, office in the summer/winter…

My first connection to the network was very good, as I had the opportunity to get a job as a CAD development designer and where I could grow my experiences in this area, I will always be grateful for having had the courage to call my connection to talk .
