Effective collaboration with co-panelists begins with thorough preparation. I do lots of research about other panelists before I get to the event. If possible I also try to meet together with others on a video call so that we can best understand each others "lane", and do everything we can to give each other or a certain topic an appropriate amount of time. The goal of course is great audience experience, not a competition amongst panelists.

Whenever you are a part of a panel, know your fellow panellist. Interact and understand their expertise. If you feel something has to be added to your answer, you would know whom to direct to. This is all about respecting one other and giving the audience the best. Same way also they would know when you have to pitch in as they would be aware of your strengths. The panellists can give examples of each other if they know each other well.

La Escucha Activa, me interesa practicarla cada vez que converso con alguien diferente a mi. Creo que esto me ha permitido entender mejor a quienes opinan distinto a lo que yo creo. Siendo de Derecha Politica, me he encontrado con personas de Izquierdas, que si bien no estamos de acuerdo, voy viendo (a traves de conversaciones en rede sociales) de que los seres humanos buscamos lo mismo. Esto lo he visto, tratando de no enojarme porque escucho cosas disonantes para mi, y poniendome en el lugar del otro, pensando cual es la historia de mi interlocutor, su crianza, sus sue?os , emociones, etc.

Una de las cosas que me impactó por ejemplo, fue compartir con una Comunidad Ecologista, que a simple vista para mi era algo totalmente contrario a mis ideas Conservadoras, pero eso es para otra historia, quizas mas larga de contar, y que mientras escribo estas lineas, creo que da para mas largo... sin embargo, puedo decir a ciencia cierta, de que compartir con personas distintas a lo que uno cree o piensa, te enriquece, y te hace ser un mejor ser humano, que desarrolla aun mas tu posibilidad de estar con una Escucha Activa, mas presente y realista de lo que otros pueden sentir en un momento dado.

One very important thing I have found helpful is trying to know more about the other speakers before the day. Know their areas of expertise and a little about their personality from their social media or Google and this would really really help.
