Get to the heart of what they want and then be there to help. If you have new info, or specific and relevant knowledge, offer it. But do so very concisely. Don’t ramble. Be confident. Ask questions if they are not providing enough information. Otherwise go and research it on your own. If you see a red flag, such as a risk or a potential problem, raise it - suggest a solution. You’re there to support. You’re there to help the organisation succeed. If the senior executive is not supportive or collaborative towards you: it’s not you. Do your best no matter what.
