Sometimes everything goes so upscale in these meetings that you even dream about it that night as if it was already produced. A promotional video production of any product never be a collaborate of footage. It is the combination of research, study, dream, technology, story telling capacity, rhythm of bit management etc etc. For a Video Production, a script writer & director need travel through the product then the production. They need to create shot, frame, moment in their mind. There is no alternative to gain knowledge about a creation. A creator, writer or director must need to maintain the ethical part of a production. When a production get the touch of ethics, when a production develop with honesty, with knowledge, with the touch of client's dream there create the magic. At result the target audience can reach the product.

In my experience, Adobe Premiere Pro is by far the most widely used NLE (non-linear editor). Learning the basics (shortcuts, effects, export settings) is something you should absolutely do. Shortcuts have for me been the biggest help, as I can now execute ideas much faster. It seems small, but it makes a BIG difference. Davinci Resolve is the best I’ve found for color work. PRACTICE too. On anything. Every day if you can. Learning how digital video works, codecs, wrappers, color spaces.. is huge for those technical requirements. Artistically it also allows you to play with the inner workings of video files if you so choose. In general, fall in love with it and you won’t ever have a problem. I learn every day!

Für mich war es ausschlaggebend einfach mal dabei zu sein,.. eigene Filme zu produzieren und besonders hilft es auf Schwierigkeiten zu stossen! Bzw. eigentlich ist es die überwindung die die besser macht. Learning bei Doing ist hier ein wichtiges Tool. =)

I agree with this. Who you know can take you further than your actual skill set. There’s many ways you can network that doesn’t require you to be in-person. Although Hollywood is a very face-forward industry, you can connect with people on social media, zoom, and other platforms to conduct informationals. Meeting people and building a rapport will put you in rooms that you wouldn’t dream of.
