In my experience, using whatever remote collaboration tool your team decides to use is critical. I always make sure I find a way to stay engaged with the team while working remotely. I use my mobile as well as my tablet when I step away temporarily to make sure I don't miss any messages/pings during work hours. With the proper work/life balance in mind, I also have to know when to turn on Do not Disturb to ensure I can switch off work and get back to my family after hours as well.

Clarity in communication among teams in what to build according to demands of the Application keeping customer needs as centric is important. As this particular role revolves around data and information , content becomes important and when content becomes important it has to be clear and crisp , a plan is needed considering future aspects and expansion of the Platform.
