Find out the expertise of your team with each member separately if possible, preferably before the kickoff. Align scheduling effectively. Separate milestones. Get organized. Present an outline and expectations with your perspectives allowing and actively listening for feedback before, during, throughout the project. Consistently check for risks and prioritize tasks, effectively as a team. Allow room for error but don't make it a habit. Finally, don't forget to be transparent when stating objectives.

At an early session ,I would conduct a Styles Analysis e.g. Honey's Learning Styles ,(which identifies the different learning styles of each individual-Activist ,Reflector, Theorist and Pragmatist). I would then explain each of the Styles with an emphasis on the benefits which they bring to the group ,but also how the overuse of a style could be counterproductive. Then I would ask each member to put their two preferred styles on the flip chart and help the group to see the balance of styles which we have in the Team and the impact of this e.g. "we have a lot of Reflectors but we have very few members who like to follow through" Finally I would do a fun Team exercise which will illustrate how the different styles work together .
