Prepare thoroughly by practicing coding problems and reviewing concepts. Understand the question and ask clarifying questions if needed. It is extremely important to simplify the answers as well as the concepts that you are explaining in the answer One technique that I always use is known as Feynman technique Here is how you use it.. -Understand the complex concept thoroughly. -Simplify the language -Explain the concept as if explaining to a sixth grader. You can also use any Ai generative tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft’s, Copilot, and Google Gemini to get a better understanding of the concept. But make sure to give it a right prompt. Use this technique to explain to checks or any other technical concepts especially during the technical engineering interview.

Extremely cruicial it is to structure the answers Here are a few techniques to structure the answers 1. STAR for behavioural questions -Situation 10%: Explain the challenge -Task 10%: Explain the task in hand -Action 60%: Explain the steps taken -Result 10%: Explain the outcome and learning as well 2. I totally agree with that That engaging with the interviewer is extremely important. You can engage with the interviewer at the end of the interview. Can ask questions such as in case I am selected what skills shall I work up on or learn to perform my job in a better way. Or In case I am not selected, what skills shall I work upon.

There is an art to interviewing well. It's about positioning yourself as the solution to their business and problem. Technology is an enabler to the resolution of that business problem. When crafting your responses, I like the CAR framework better. Similar to STAR but, far too often the responses allocate too much time on the Context when the emphasis should be on the Action and Results. These are the areas of interest: What did you do, how did you do it and what was the end result? In some instances (technical-based challenges), it's about how you think, how you approach the problem as well as the outcome. Preparation and Practice are key!
