To maintain professionalism and effectiveness, you need to first conduct discussions and dialogues with them. This is to give you the opportunity to listen to their point of the view. You need to then calmly explain to them why your method of teaching is effective. This is so that they would be able to understand from your point of view why you are using these methods. You could also compromise by providing them with solutions or ask them for opinions on what methods they prefer. This is so that they would be able to accept your methods of teaching.

Dealing with critics from educational grounds could be overwhelming when we think of the sacrifices we make everyday as educators. I think that this could be provoked by some non-major issues like lack of adaptability, tech adoption and maybe students' performance where parents think that the teacher is not doing enough. It is, now, by 1. Staying calm as a teacher and 2. Explain your methods and what they bring to the table to make sure parents understand your approaches and 3. Stay optimistic towards the students' ability that one can handle situations like criticism. Remember, time will prove to parents that you're worthy of teaching them kids if you engage both students, peers and parents in your teaching!

Meine Empfehlung: Nicht abblocken, ernst nehmen!
