Client demands and team freedom requires a certain level of harmony which is built over time. At the base of this harmony stand two pillars: - Building trust - Being clear, realistic and concise on goals and expectations Once the clients understand that a product is not built in a single sprint and the team members understand that the sprint goal is a contract that MUST NOT be breached, all parties are on a journey to successfully balance client demands and team freedom. I believe that the Agile framework already provides the necessary tooling to support the said balance in the face of the ceremonies which incentivise demoing product increments as well as regular team updates.
