I think Entrepreneurship can only by learnt by doing it like you can only learn how to be a parent by becoming one. No experience can bring you even closer to what entrepreneurship means until you walk that path. I feel entrepreneurs can never fit in a traditional job framework and if they are fitting in then they are pseudo entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship requires strategic thinking, team building, risk taking, no fear to failures and ownership of that risk. Apart from that the hustle they bring is bound to disrupt a lot of framework in your existing organisation. In essence they becomes the pivot point for a lot of changes. Grab them before they find another thesis to work upon because they won't stay idle for long.

Entrepreneurship, job creation and wealth starts with science and technology, with the structure of business following. Microsoft is a computer science company, Southwest Airlines is the Science of flight. Kellogg is the science of food and GM is the science of combustion or electric engines. The majority of great companies in America during the last 40 plus years were founded in Boston, Silicon Valley and Austin. As one involved in helping create the Austin Miracle, it was because Dr. Kozmetsky founded the IC2 Institute to put Science and Technology at the center of entrepreneurship. With 5D and AI (which is really Machine Learning first demonstrated in IBM Watson), small and great enterprises will be impacted. Know science always.

I agree as through networking and accepting new networks whether business or ethnic or group ie LGBTQ2SL, OR say father's groups you build both the intern and yourself. Eg a South American intern introduced me to others in his network, allowed me to explore other potential markets which after cost analysis got turned down but saved me wasting time and money.
