Data security is one of the trends in 2023 that organisation has to take seriously. Securing your data for my project can be done in different ways: -Usage of encryption such as OpenSSL or BitLocker -implementing data masking tools such as Talend - Access control like LADP Also, other tools like Calibra and Onetrust can help with data governance and compliance. Overall, the organisation has to conduct research and know what works best for them to avoid data breaches.

Sometimes in calculations, the actual data is not as important as identifying the unique qualities of the data. In passing on PII information for example, it may not be so important to pass a date-of-birth, but instead just pass a Boolean value that represents whether a birthdate exists in the system for the person.
