As I recall from my contract days, this is potentially the most important aspect of consulting. If the client needs it done, and you don’t want to do it, find someone who does and sub-contract with them (If allowed by your agreement with the client). Don’t spend one minute doing work you don’t enjoy because the time you have is ALL the time you have. Clients are looking for solution providers, not developers.
