First step. Do you need to migrate? For example if it's a VM it likely can be expanded rather than migrated. If Capacity is what's needed expanding drive size and then File System size can be done quickly and sometimes live. If you are dealing with containers. The increase comes in the form of scaling. Scaling can be done live and safely. If it's a Database, larger capacity may not be what is really needed. Consider sharding of data or, replication with a read and a write node.
