Before defending your industry, understand where their fear stems from. It’ll give you valuable insight into what went wrong. An industry inherently can’t be at fault—often, it’s a specific person, or incident that caused the issue. With your industry expertise, identify what went wrong and have an honest, open conversation. This alone will builds trust, which is crucial to rebuilding the relationship. As the saying goes, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Once they feel that you genuinely care, they’ll be open to further discussions.

Business is made up of people and in a few instances, people make mistakes. Normally no human wants to make a mistake but despite measures to control it we sometimes end up making mistakes. Most of the business run or make money depending on how well they treat their client. Clients only want to do business with whom they can trust. Regaining back the lost trust of the Client is very tough. I followed below steps to regain back the trust of my clients. 1. Understand and acknowledge the problem. 2. Take responsibility by accepting the mistake. 3. Understand the client's needs. 4. Explain clearly the next steps or strategies to resolve the issue within time bound. 4. Follow up until the issue is resolved. 5. Delivery on very promise we made.
