The risk-reward ratio is unique to each person based on his skills, strategies, and goals. One should not blindly follow others' risk-reward ratio. I prefer 1:1.5 as the best ratio to start with, which means you are risking $100 to make $150. Also, it is mandatory to stick with the ratio; never let your mind alternate it. Even if it is a loss or profit, exit at the defined value that you have calculated beforehand, that is, if the loss is $100 and the profit is $150. Never forget to set realistic targets

The most important thing in technical analysis is how you manage your risk. For Risk management, keep strict stoploss and targets. stoploss and targets should be keep atleast in same ratio like 1:1. You can increase your ratio by keeping small stoploss and bigger targets, so that your risk to reward ratio will look like 1:2 & 1:3 etc. Main thing in Risk management is your Psychology. Because if your Stop loss get hit then there is chance that you might overtrade to recover the loss so it is advisable not to overtrade, to keep your capital safe.
