It is curcial to automise tedious tasks and give yourself the head space to concentrate on critical aspects. There is little point of going into the nitty-gritty of writing down user comments on sticky notes, when in the end you are too tired to identify patterns and insights.

One thing that I have experienced during the UT is getting the right participants. Niche domains need a careful recruitment techniques to find the right set of people. Let’s say I need different setup of skills form the domain and in order to understand the skill levels a normal questionnaire is not going to help to conduct a UT in a short period of time and having some true data. So I’m my opinion, call it anything hiring or recruiting ultimately getting the right people for your UT is the success of your product.

Using different tools to create prototypes, video recordings etc, to communicate the usability of a product/feature while testing at every stage. Other than the journey, I like to test the pupil/eye movement on the page, through heatmap testing via AI mostly. If the right information hierarchy is happening which is best for the user and makes it easssssyyyyyyy to use!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you NEED to engage the team!!! Don’t waste their time on long and tedious meetings though… How do we get those usability tests right? Include the team in the RISK ANALYSIS while planning the tests. Don't be afraid to spend some time planning, even if you’re in a hurry! It will pay off. I feel this is one of the most incredible things about Testing. Quality Control done right is like a superpower! Your teammates can help find all the usability aspects that might go wrong and would have a negative impact (that's the definition of Risk. Once you put a value on each risk, you have your priorities. Now you KNOW what you have to do and what would be nice to be done but not necessary

Get your team involved by sharing feedback and insights regularly. This keeps everyone in the loop, encourages collaboration, and makes sure that improving usability is a shared effort.

Always communicate with your team early and often! Run the study task by task and keep your team update to iterate and move faster!
