Transportation planning should be inclusive, ensuring equity and accessibility within the city. Accordingly, I sought representation from the disabled, the elderly, low-income residents, and most disadvantaged. I have held focus groups, administered surveys, and conducted public workshops to get a wide understanding of their needs and barriers concerning transportation. In developing transportation plans by working with the community organizations for their various needs, I could genuinely make plans that served all people regardless of their background or abilities. Remember, inclusive transportation is not just about providing services; it's about creating opportunities for full participation by everyone in their community.

Setting the scene when engaging with interested parties is crucial. Many tends to provide solutions when given the opportunity or asked to provide feedback, while in reality what Transportation Planning needes is clear problem statement or the issue stakeholders and interested parties bring in and what are the desired outcomes and benefits sought from the potential works. That way, the transport expert could collate various parties input and thoughts in an inclusive way then processing it collectively.

Urban roads do not have a uniform capacity. This leads to traffic congestion. Whereas, rail-based transport has uniform capacity, accommodating a larger number of passengers and being environmentally friendly. Planning should take this into account. Road-based modes must act as feeder services for rail-based modes.? A large-scale community survey needs to be conducted among the stakeholders to ensure 'inclusivity' and issues must be addressed for the improved feeder services.
