There's no such thing as a writer's block. It’s just a romanticized excuse for poor planning and lack of preparation. It's an unpopular opinion, but that's what my experience taught me. So whenever I'm squeezed between (the imaginary) writer's block and tight deadlines, my strategy is to step back and redo the planning. I'll create a clear content brief which includes: the writing goal, target audience, topic, keywords, up to a detailed outline. I'll also redo all the necessary research to have all the materials I need. In other words, I'll be well prepared. It's a 30-60 minutes setback, but it will cut the writing time in half (or more) and 10x the quality. Another unpopular opinion? Use AI to speed up the process even more.

Writer's block torments a lot of good writers in almost every niche. I personally feel that the best way to beat it is by getting some sort of inspiration from someone or somewhere. Instead of forcing yourself to write, take a deep breath and try to explore the various people who are in your niche. Check out their content and analyse the possibility of adding something to it. You may take some time to get inspired, but it will eventually happen. 99% of the time, this helps me overcome writer's block. I am sure it can help you too!

When facing writer's block, take time to rest and recuperate. Try not to be overwhelmed and start with the WHY- why you started it on the first place. Think of the progress you have made till now, appreciate the little things. You can also seek inspiration from nature, it is soothing and helps our mind feel relaxed even during stressful times.

If you're struggling with writer's block and tight deadlines, try breaking your work into smaller tasks. Start with the toughest part first, as getting it out of the way makes everything else easier. Set mini-deadlines to keep yourself on track and take short breaks if you feel stuck. Focus on the tasks that need to be done first, but be flexible if things change. This approach will help you push through the block and meet your deadlines.

Plumbers never get "plumber’s block". I've never heard of a plumber down tools and announce "I can't work under these conditions!" Writing like anything else is a matter of planning, coordination and (most importantly!) discipline. First, have a clear picture of what your goals are. Without a true north it impossible to reach what you plan to. Next, break down these goals into actionable tasks, approaching them as you would any large task. Diligently. Methodically. Then, simply repeat until done. Best of luck!
