Effective leaders set goals and expectations with their team (not for them). Effective leaders ensure vision and strategy alignment from the beginning. Clear, consistent, and daily communication allows for any necessary course corrections with less negative impact on morale and the overall success of the campaign. Effective leaders understand that we do not manage people, we manage projects, campaigns, and tasks. Effective leaders grow their people by empowering them, helping them align their work with their passion, and involving them at every step along the way.
