As far as a specific use case, giving viewers a way to interact with relevant objects in their own space using AR can engage even the most tuned out attendee. Think of ways to break the ice or represent concepts and data. I’ve used a usdz file to of a 3D data visualization linked to a QR code on a slide. This gave viewers the ability to download the model to their phones and drop the 3D scatter plot on their desk to or even fill their room and walk around it to explore. On the iPhone, opening a usdz file opens the native 3D viewer app which has an AR feature for phones with Lidar. On an ARCore supported Android device running Android 7.0 Nougat (API Level 24) or later, the Google App’s SceneViewer accomplishes the same.

Be sure to not just consider when AR might be useful, but also when it might not be useful. Some things can simply be more easily explained through traditional means - for example, perhaps if relaying a biographical narration a simple video may be more relevant or appropriate. But then when learning about that person's home, maybe an AR visualisation of that space could help immerse the audience better than a video could. Given the investment overheads that can come with developing AR, consider leveraging it where it best makes sense, for maximum impact.

From my experience, the best way to use AR for remote presentation is to use WebAR. Adding a QR to a slide is enough to engage the audience who will scan it. Since it's WebAR, it does not need to download any app or anything. A complex subject or a vision while presented can suddenly become real to the audience. This simply creates a hyper-realistic personalized digital experience for the audience who becomes more attached to the subject immediately. Imagine pitching a future project and showing it to audience via AR. It becomes more real. You can present data, graphs or equal stuffs in AR for a greater engagement. Using AR can simply increase your success quotient of your presentation.

En mi experiencia cuando contacto con posibles clientes y empiezo a hablar con ellos, me comentan que el usar RA mientras les explico los beneficios de integrarlo a sus productos les crea curiosidad e inmediatamente atención a mi presentación lo cual me lleva a saber que es una gran herramienta para explicar y llamar la atención al momento de mejorar o explicar algo. Si bien no siempre es necesario el uso de la RA en ciertos puntos, crea mayor beneficio el usarlo que el no hacerlo; en estas experiencias me ha ense?ado que el hablar ya sea por videollamada o presencialmente mientras invitas a tu audiencia a experimentar por ellos la RA mientras estás hablando, te puede traer increíbles beneficios!

Training and education can be made much more stimulating. Employees can go through interactive training modules that use AR elements to visualise complex processes or machines. This is particularly relevant for companies with distributed teams or for training courses that cannot be held on site.

Asegúrate también de proporcionar todos los canales necesarios para que puedan disfrutar de cualquier experiencia.

We must keep in mind that making our presentation 'fun' or 'engaging' is not an end but a means to helping our users appreciate the physical object. Over-indexing on the digital experience defeats the purpose of the presentation.

When presenting remotely it will be harder to guide your audience if they encounter difficulties. Therefore, relying on simple interaction patterns will be important. Many people are now very familiar with using QR codes, and these can easily be leveraged to enter an experience if added to a slide being shown in a VC meeting. Similarly, if enabling your audience to explore an interior environment, rather than delivering plane tracking and six degrees of freedom (moving up, down, left, right, forward and back) you may restrict the experience to three degrees of freedom or rotation only. People will be able to intuitively turn around to change views and look in different directions, without unnecessary complication.

AR is an art form akin to magic, where the creative possibilities are truly limitless. A presentation enriched with interactive AR content stands as the most powerful conduit to educate, engage, and inspire innovative thinking. After all, imaginative play often serves as the precursor to great ideas.

Gamification- Integrate AR games and challenges into your presentation to increase audience participation. Imagine answering quiz questions by shooting augmented targets or solving puzzles or a treasure hunt to encourage exploration.
