- The practice which I'm currently following is to have a regular connect with team. Listen to their current challenges, providing them support & guidance on how to break down the challenges/ complex problems into simpler tasks. Prioritise tasks based on critical path analysis. During execution one should focus on effective communication and directing team towards achieving desired goals in a timely manner. This approach will help in enhancing the efficiency and bringing team back on track.

Evaluate your team's current performance, noting any deviations from excellence. Identify areas for improvement, strategically leverage strengths, and implement targeted training. Prioritize actions and establish vigilant oversight. This comprehensive assessment provides a roadmap for returning the team to peak performance.

As a leader represents the team and their performance, we can begin to make progress by reassessing and reordering the tasks. Deconstruct more extensive undertakings into more manageable segments and establish unambiguous, realizable time constraints. Engage in candid dialogue with your team regarding the obstacles you face and solicit their guidance on optimizing workflows. Project management tools would help to monitor progress and visually represent duties. Delegate responsibilities whenever feasible, ensuring that tasks are allocated per the strengths and capabilities of team members. Team well-being is important; management of stress and the maintenance of a healthy work-life balance are crucial for sustained productivity.

In my point of view avoid micro management and give space to them to work as per their individual work plan. Just monitor the progress and guide them if they blocked somewhere, be available always to the team for their guidance, create the environment to speak up freely with you and give the access all time. Too much intervention is the killing factor for team performance.

When you're having a hard time keeping up with your team's progress, start by figuring out which tasks are really urgent and important. Talk to your team to understand their priorities and see if you can share some of the work. Break down big tasks into smaller steps so they're easier to handle. Focus on doing the tasks that will make the biggest difference to your team's progress. If you can, ask others to help with tasks that they can do well....so you can concentrate on what you do best. And remember to keep checking in on your priorities as things change.??

Secondly, even with overlapping functions determine key actors for various tasks who take overall accountability for the outcome of the process. Furthermore, to ensure teams stay within defined timeframes, there must be a methodology for performance monitoring, measurement, and evaluation. What is not monitored/ measured cannot be assessed for continual improvement

La norma ISO 9001 en su clausula 6.2.2, si bien da ciertas reglas para la planificación de objetivos, mi experiencia me dice que son elementos muy utiles para planear proyectos, actividades, objetivos: 6.2.2 ...la organización debe determinar: a) qué se va a hacer; b) qué recursos se requerirán; c) quién será responsable; d) cuándo se finalizará; e) cómo se evaluarán los resultados. Como líderes nos toca orientar al equipo a establecer eso elementos cuando y en donde sea necesario.

Break down the project into smaller tasks: Breaking down the project into manageable tasks can make it less overwhelming for your team. Celebrate milestones and progress to keep motivation high. 3. Provide regular feedback and recognition: Recognize and appreciate your team's efforts regularly. Positive feedback and recognition can boost morale and motivate them to keep up the good work. 4. Foster a positive work environment.

The place of honest, open and transparent communication cannot be overemphasized within teams. The modes of communication should be clearly agreed and defined among teams. In Agile teams for example, open and transparent communication is one of the most valued attributes of the team. Several collaborative tools such as jira, trello, slack etc are used to monitor and visualize deliverables so that teams are clear on the expected results, and are able to provide solutions for any impediments stalling the team's progression. In this way, team members can monitor progress and hold each other accountable, trust is built and collaboration is fostered among teams.

I totally agree with you should empower staff. I don't agree with starting early and catching up after business hours. This does not create a good culture or working environment. There is enough time in the day if people are organised. Clear agenda, objectives and time frames for all to follow and work too is what is required. The Leader should ensure everybody has clear direction and what we are trying to achieve. Simply asking people to work more hours is not productive. There needs to be a good work, home life balance.

Managers are suffering! What do I mean? Companies are becoming increasingly lean, requesting that leaders, who are tasked with managing their teams, also focus on specialist or analyst activities, making the workload very heavy. Within an ESG perspective, this goes against the humanization of work. We cannot demand that people be superhuman but rather that they do what they need to do within their roles and not add activities, justifying that those who do not overburden themselves are not good professionals! No strategic planning, management, or action plan will be useful if the company's governance is focused on overloading its leadership team.
