To improve company resilience over the probable disruption on the global supply chains, digital twins is employed as it simulates different scenarios, optimizes inventories and advises on distribution strategies. Digital twins could consider the impacts of the weather, geopolitical risks, social unrests and other factors and could provide decision making aid to supply chain executive. Support from digital twins would save the business from the supply chain disruptive impacts by circumventing the effects of disruptions through prediction and mitigation of the risks.
