To choose the most appropriate format for your resume you should keep in mind which is the intention of the position you are applying for. As a mentor, I like to tell to my mentees that communication must be intentional. And, for me, communication is what you say and what you don't say aswell. In fact, according to Mr. Mehrabian research, 93% of communication is non-verbal: emotions, images and behavior. I can bring a trail from my mentoring, it′s a UX Design professional that I recently assisted: her key objective was a job in "Creative" and we prepared the resume considering the targeted format which she could customize the experience for each job application. Here are top 3 things to tailor your resume: 1. Read the job description very carefully and understand what the job is about. 2. If you can, connect with people who work in that/similar teams. Talk to them and understand what they are looking for with this role. 3. Research everything you can find about the company online to know what projects are they working on right now, their approach to work, any recent events/milestones, etc. Once you do these, make sure to reflect this in the keywords you've used in the resume (don't lie!) and it is telling a confident, cohesive picture with your career story.

Your resume is your proxy in the room in your absence. Make it tell a compelling story about: - who you are - what drives you - your strengths - the projects you've worked on, and the outcomes - why they should hire you / how can you add value! The last point is often not clear in most resumes. Recruiters spend less than 10seconds going through resumes. Help them connect the dots! Tell them what results you've accomplished and show them how your skills and experience might help for the role they are hiring for.

Il faut que le CV soit un parfait équilibre entre donner des informations aux recruteurs, et en garder sous le coude afin d'attirer la curiosité de ceux-ci, et ainsi, cela pourrait déboucher sur un entretien.
