We will need to emphasize on each one responsibility is vital and how this very crucial in achievement of goals of organization. We will need to clearly provide them why this goal is given to them, what is the impact which this is going to be for the organization. There needs to be role clarity which needs to be provided to them. We need to educate them how individual goal achievement will help to collectively achieve organizational goals.

Designing the engagement program as per people's voice and need. Generally People wants flexibility, authority, recognition and freedom. Without recognizing their actual needs no engagement activities will make an impact. If someone need food bcs h/she is hungry for long time but you are spending huge money for his/her amusement that's a mockery with a hungry person.

At the outset training & certification of employees on the processes that they would be handling is critical. This is a continuous affair not a one-time thing & makes one agile. We should set up our employees for success & equip them to deliver excellence. Empowerment is basically giving power to an employee in his specific area of responsibility. Empowerment also comes along with accountability. Also its worthwhile to connect to the deeper sense of purpose & alignment with one's personal & professional goals in life !

As per my experience i believe open communication is crucial be it in the form of one-on-one connect or focus groups which gives them a platform to share their concerns and ideas effectively. Involve team in problem solving and decision making process so that they expand their horizons towards innovation. Accountability makes them answerable for their work as per their position, strength, and skills. Empower them by providing professional development opportunities specific to their roles and interest, such as training in the latest HR technologies. Acknowledge their ideas, recognize and reward their contributions regularly to reinforce their value to the organization. Implement flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.

Related to the previous point, the sense of purpose is directly impacted by professional development. Providing career plans, options for internal promotion, and opportunities for professional training will be key to improving employee engagement towards their position and, therefore, the company.

We will need to support the employees in the development, understand their reskilling and upskilling areas of the job. We will need to provide them either on job or off job training to enhance their skills. We will need to have the BARS of each level of skills and guide them in path what is required to reach the next proficiency level. Monitor their progress and providing support will help both the organization and the employee.

Since the Hybrid working as become norm, we will need to have specific SOP on how well we will be able to support them to maintain balancing act. Some time club memberships, mental wellness programs, involving their family in the engagement activities will give them out a sense of motivations.

Providing opportunities to employees to have their own opinion when making business decisions are pretty much necessary to make them feel they are involved and important, thus contributing to achieve overall organizational goal.
