I personally use Microsoft Teams and Discord as they provide a lot of options which are not even paid. If you're getting something for free in one platform that provides the same result as the other platform (paid one), then why even give it a second thought.

For web meetings on a browser, Google Meet is by far the best. It has support for screen-sharing, chatting, and playing media with sounds. When it comes to other apps, Zoom/Slack and Team desktop applications work better than their web extension.

Also if you need meets longer then 45 minutes their workspace is very affordable and comes with a free trial. Google has hundreds of add-in that work with their conferencing tool. Including polls, surveys, interactive extensions that allow viewer participation, and works seamlessly with most systems and software. Google meet also links up with jamboard as well as other google apps, to help make sharing and communicating with your team very easy.

Google meet has worked well through my experience.It's easy to set up and allows instant scheduling with no time limits unlike Zoom.I would highly recommend Google meet to anyone who wants to save time.Most importantly, always remember to check your camera and microphone permissions before the call.

I've worked with most of the above, and I have to agree with others here- G Suite really is the winner imo. Their whole ecosystem is great honestly, and it still integrates with Slack and Zoom well if someone really insists on those in particular.

For companies on a budget I would go with google meet or microsoft teams. Both come with free trials when you purchase them. However, Google meets is free to use for the first 45 minutes of the meeting with up to 50 participants. With google meets and anyone can join the meeting, but After 45 minutes the host of the meeting will have to purchase a workspace business account but it is very affordable. With prices as low a $6/ month (based on a 1year commitment) and come with a 14 day free trial. Microsoft team has individual plans separate from a full subscription with prices as low as $4/month (Based on a 1yr commitment) and come with a 1 month free trial.

I have personally used Zoom, Teams, and Google Meets for video conferencing and all of them have very similar features and works well with most business. You just a need a good designer to make it want you want it to be.
