Explain to your boss how your work style might be different but achieves the common goal. Be very clear and explain to them how you can guarantee you will make 100% sure you achieve the outcome the company needs.

When trying to communicate your work style to your boss, it's essential to be clear and proactive. Schedule a meeting to discuss your approach. Use specific examples to illustrate your strengths and preferences such as how you handle tasks or collaborate with colleagues. Be more attentive to answer their queries. Be open to their feedback as well and take them in a positive way. Also, ask for their expectations too. Emphasize the positive outcomes that result from your work style and how it contributes to your goals. Consider finding common ground and be ready to compromise, where necessary. The key is to establish a constructive dialogue that helps your boss understand your methods and encourages a more effective working relationship.

Prove it. Meet with them so that you fully understand the responsibilities of your role. This may be more than just the bare minimum, but continually demonstrating better ways of working. Create a goal list with them and then check the boxes. If you're doing all this, who are they to question how you got the end result?

It is easy to "fly" through our daily tasks and never think about our speed of speech. Clarify anything that you may not understand. Understand your boss's perspective, Choose the right time and place to speak with him/her. Allow them to talk and you actively listen and maintain control over your emotions. When they have voiced their concerns, calmly and rationally give your feedback. Effective communication is a must.

Understanding your boss's workstyle and basically adjust. Know his or her temperaments regarding different issues and work your way through them. Be flexible and teachable if you want to achieve success.

However, sometimes it doesn't communicate the right message. For example, instead of saying 'I am sorry for this, thanks for correcting me,' one can say 'I appreciate your feedback on this.
