To achieve more purposeful work (and lives) in the future, I’d say, someone mus sow and reap and invest in their own growth. Ideas to help you… 1. Take on a self directed project where you learn a new tech. tool for your field or practice a new industry concept (Ex.- A digital marketer completes a Hubspot cert. to learn their CRM more) 2. Build a portfolio of your work samples to better showcase your skills or transferable skills (great for any kind of career pivot); 3. Take an online learning course, focusing to have skin in the game [if you have to pay for the cert., pay it to help your intrinsic motivation], and also focus on applying what you’ve learned to a real example.
