This phase is very important in an SDLC as you first need to identify the appropriate testing methodology. The test suite must be designed in such a way that no code change must go into production without being passed by the quality gate. There are different testing methods like Frontend Testing usually done via Component or Unit Testing. For example in React Websites. Then we have others like E2E tests which are more preferred in Data Critial Applications or APIs.
