Moving into a new role is already an act of confidence, so Congratulations! In my experience, Humility is an attribute that is part of an initial first impression. Once someone believes you may be too self-important, it is hard to change their mind. Conversely, people will recognize confidence at any point in relationship. So my advice, lead with Humility and then demonstrate your Confidence.
