My holistic note: keep in mind that everybody is always relevant. You're not less relevant when you're perhaps a bit behind on the latest technology and frameworks. Relevancy is not a matter of knowledge or skill, neither is it a matter of character and wisdom. Those traits can get you a new development job, but they don't add to your relevancy. You're relevant, regardless. The term Relevant is awkwardly chosen, and should be replaced with "Competent" or "Up to Date". Now back on topic: if you have reached a certain level of experience, you can work in any framework, using any technology available, whether you are familiar with it or not. Though it's an unpopular opinion but age is a benefit here, not a handicap.
