Time and time again I see that engineering can design but does not consider the manufacturing or machining of parts in real life, and then it becomes very difficult. I’ve also seen production make alterations on the fly based on ease of manufacturing, not fully understanding the design process in the background. But when you have great communication between both sides, engineering will consult with production. Production will also go to engineering with questions about possible changes to a design based on ease of manufacturing, time, and saving money. This way everybody wins and trust is gained between engineering and production at the same time.

Eu preciso entender, que sou responsável direta e indiretamente pelo sucesso do meu produto, que preciso estar atenta às mudan?as e necessidade e isso precisa ser constante. Sempre falo aos meus liderados, que o 5°S do 5's é sempre o mais difícil de fazer, que é justamente MANTER. E isto n?o vale só para o 5's.
