Nowadays, most of the geological and mining software packages can validate, clean, integrate data in different formats, visualize in 2D and 3D, transform and analyze the data. Leapfrog, Datamine, Micromine and others can open CAD and GIS files, different database files and text files. In each software package we can visualize the input data, create 3D models, perform statistical analysis and create different reports.

A estatística tradicional é um bom come?o para checar a fiabilidade do banco de dados, sendo recomendado recomendável usar a média, mediana, desvio padr?o e variancia dos dados. Um próximo passo é utilizar ferramentas de estatística multivariada, como histogramas, boxplot, e componentes principais, para visualizar a distribui??o em grupos predominantes e famílias de dados. O uso da lógica Fuzzy é uma excelente op??o para uma análise de sensibilidade dos dados, quando há informa??es de origem empírica, variabilidade de ordens de grandeza e baixa precis?o.

All software packages make two essential assumptions- that you know what you are doing and unless edited by you, that the data you use is correct, unless changed by you. There are some built in checks, but generally the software will try its level best to do what you instruct it to do- unless it crashes! Save often and use temporary files so that you can systematically step through your processes to see where you went wrong
