I believe that, at times, relying on engineering judgment and past experience allows us to deprioritize less critical tasks and concentrate on the key ones. It’s akin to applying the 20/80 rule—focusing on the most important 20% of tasks that deliver the majority of design confidence and safety. As a design engineer working under tight deadlines, I prioritize safety-critical tasks such as reviewing load-bearing structures, conducting seismic analysis, and verifying lateral forces. When time is limited, I ensure these crucial elements are thoroughly addressed before focusing on less critical aspects like non-structural components.

Ter procedimentos bem definidos e sempre prezar pela seguran?a, mesmo que com prazo apertado. Outro ponto muito importante é a realiza??o de tarefas ao final do dia que demandam muito da capacidade mental, pode ser um fator gerador de maior probabilidade de erros, principalmente na pressa. Ent?o dividir as tarefas também baseado no seu estado mental é muito importante.
