Esports and sports are completely different and you must approach each in a bespoke way. There is nothing to be said about crossing over because although similar skills do exist between the both it’s like comparing apples to oranges.

Esports is a type of sport, so of course those things like elite mindset, knowing what it takes to win / compete at the top level are all things that you have and can use to aid you. Now gaming is very different and just because you have those doesn't mean you will be great at esports, but if you are naturally good at games you have a step up as long as you do the basics, work hard, train and put the time in!
