Be AUTHENTIC, this is key. The fan base is smart, they can spot un-authentic things a mile off, I'd go as far as to say NEVER even consider something even if a partnership is worth a good amount of money, unless it is authentic. It's not worth it. Collaboration is also an amazing way to build a strong brand recognition. My esports company partnered with a billion dollar clothing brand, it was authentic and it certainly helped our brand reputation!
