I have learnt from my experience that apart from setting clear goals, positive reinforcement towards achievement of smaller key goals during the process keeps the team extremely motivated. As I have mentioned before in my perspectives, there's a small oath that my team takes right before starting our work towards setup that also fosters a sense of belonging and solidifies a collective vision. Hence I strongly believe that little things/ actions like this matter a lot and make a huge difference. Every individual who is contributing towards goals helps us take one step ahead in terms of achieving them and acknowledgment of the same is what makes or breaks their motivation to keep moving forward or to keep doing better! Ideas can be of all kinds, some might sound practical while some might not. What matters is the opportunity that they get to express and the kind of criticism and reinforcement that they get. I personally make sure that everyone gets a chance to be heard and be given a personalized feedback. Either directly or through individual team leads! And although this might seem like it takes up more time, I have seen my team achieve better knowing that we have their backs when they work!
