I believe that, mentorship and hand-holding is very much essential for the individuals aspiring to be the social leaders. They need guidance in different aspects like Finance, Schemes, Ideation, Technologies, Soft Skills, Team management, Fund Raising, Innovation, & related aspects. Taking the support & assistance from mentor can help us find our strengths & weakness. They are the one who can show us the path and give right direction to head towards our goals.

Finding and retaining a mentor is must throughout the journey of becoming a social and non-profit leader. We need to cross check with different aspects before fixing to one. The values, ideals need to sync with the mentee. They need to supportive, co-operative and need to hand-hold like a teacher does to their student. They need to help us in designing our plan for the challenge that we take in and work for. they must be capable of helping us in creating short-term and long-term goals in regards to our final goal.

Once you find a potential mentor, you need to establish clear expectations and boundaries for the mentorship relationship. How often will you communicate and meet? I firmly believe in the transformative power of self-reflection during mentorship. Here are my key take-aways: 1) Throughout various leadership experiences, I've learned the importance of pausing, assessing my journey, and extracting valuable insights. 2) Introspection has been instrumental in identifying my strengths, recognizing areas for growth, and refining my leadership style. 3) Keeping a written diary of these reflections has helped me stay aligned with my values, sense of belonging, and purpose. I am convinced that self-reflection is the most meaningful way to honor my mentors, appreciate their wisdom and value, and recognize the positive impact they've had on me. It's a continuous journey of growth and gratitude, always!
