To maintain continuous user testing for accessibility I do follow the below process for most of my projects: 1. TL;DR: UX designers - we need to get used to running accessibility automated testing tools ourselves, be able to identify critical issues from the test reports, and be able to explain and communicate the same. As designers and developers collaborate ever closer than before, UX designers must be more conversant in dev tools. Accessibility testing as part of CI/CD is necessary if the organisation is serious about inclusive design and compliance. So there is a need to collaboratively set this up with developers/devops, and to be able to identify and track issues to resolution. If CI/CD is not possible, this needs to be done manually at a set frequency. This is definitely tablestakes in a designer's workflow.
