To engage early with the stakeholders we should first identify who they are. With an in-depth study they should be identified after that their needs and wills, taste, values, wishes, hopes, etc. should be noted and taken forward.

Ideally, planning and decision making should follow bottom-top approach, the stakeholders should be involved in process of making decisions in planning because any decision formulated without involving the stakeholders would not see the light of the day.

Según mi experiencia, en Espa?a donde la propiedad está muy atomizada, uno de los principales escollos en el desarrollo de un proyecto ambicioso son los vecinos. Es necesario recordarles que un buen proyecto, debe ser realmente bueno y estos no abundan, no sólo reportará beneficio económico a los promotores o la comunidad que se beneficiará de los empleos creados; sino que el valor de sus activos, de su patrimonio mejorará significativamente. Con esto lograremos que una parte de los posibles opositores (generalmente fácilmente manipulables) se posicionen a favor del proyecto. En este sentido también es muy interesante hablarles de casos de éxito concretos y desarrollados en localidades similares a la suya.-
