Don’t hesitate to ask for clarification when terms are unclear. Politely ask for definitions or examples to ensure you and others are on the same page. Also you can write that jargon and google it right after the meeting or if you get a chance, search it during the meeting.

I aim to be proactive in demystifying technical jargon, assume the people in the room don't know what acronyms are or what industry slang means. When it comes to being clear or concise, be clear. You don't want the miscommunication from something simple to lead to big mistakes later on.

Be the hero who raises his hand and asks "I'm sorry if I'm the only one in the room who didn't understand what you just said. Could you say that in plain language?" Then look around the room. Chances are, you will see others nodding and giving you a thumbs-up

Mon secret pour m'assurer d'être bien comprise c'est de me dire que même un enfant doit être susceptible de me comprendre. Cela n'enlève en rien à notre expertise. On doit s'adapter à notre public. Le simple n'est pas l'ennemi du bien en communication. Bien au contraire.

How can using jargons that is not understood by a roomful of people be cool? Helps to simplify immediately what you want to say , just so that everybody is on the same page. Or ofcourse google to find the meaning after the meeting is over and not during the meeting. Best is to ask the person to explain politely. Nobody minds that
