I am not a huge supporter of the statement, right now. Quantum computing has potential to solve complex problems exponentially faster than classic computers, but it’s a concept still building up and researched at,as of the year 2024. To tackle this job parallelism, or parallel computation - we can use the more mature and tested GPU’s and AI accelerators, which are already present in the markets. Another disadvantage with Quantum Computing is that it’s prone to environmental disturbances like noise, and some other factors - which requires to incorporate error correction algorithm. This was my 2 cents, having said that - I will be in the lookout for some novel algorithms to be used on quantum computation for 100x computational speed boost.

GPUs have revolutionized deep learning by dramatically reducing training times for complex models. For instance, tasks that used to take weeks on traditional CPUs can now be completed in hours or days using GPUs. The parallel processing capability of specialized AI processors allows for faster execution of AI models. This speed is crucial for applications like real-time object detection in video streams or natural language processing in chatbots. Companies like Nvidia and Tesla are engineering AI accelerators and workloads specifically tailored for AI. As AI becomes more integrated into everyday applications, the role of these processors will continue to grow, driving innovation and advancements across various industries.

I am all in for sustainable systems, this is what we need as our primary focus. Being from the new generations, we have observed the climate changes, and the scarcity of resources that’s left to us when compared to our previous generations. This has led to price inflations and stress on lifestyle management. So a changes is needed here, also we should not compromise with the customers needs, as it’s being observed in our 2024 Paris Olympics, the beds made up of cardboard - are novel technique to be sustainable, but many athletes are complaining about back pains and some sleep disturbances. Apple was the trail-blazed sustainability when they discontinued its charger plug, the customers adapted to it well, and it saved our planet a lot.
