PowerShell can be incredibly powerful and has a room for expandability when creating tools. Even in extreme security networks, having PowerShell do a lot of heavy lifting is a massive time saver. In the role I'm currently in, I save about 3-4 hours weekly from one 6 hour stint worth of fine-tuning a PowerShell script to do a ton of heavy lifting for me.
