Desde mi punto de vista, lo mejor es crear un ambiente colaborativo donde las decisiones del área sean consensuadas en la medida de lo posible, permitiendo que cada miembro aporte y se sienta comprometido y responsable del éxito o fracaso de las decisiones tomadas. Esto genera un sentido de pertenencia e incentiva la participación de todos, creando un ambiente de confianza donde se sientan seguros de que sus ideas siempre serán escuchadas

De acuerdo a mi experiencia, lo primordial es la transparencia en la información que se tiene dentro del equipo, definir los objetivos para el equipo, que sepan que se espera de los encargos. Tener reuniones diarias cortas para que cada miembros presente los avances de sus trabajos y reciba el feedback de todos los miembros del equipo. En estas reuniones no se considera los niveles jerárquicos para que cada miembro pueda brindar aportes sobre los avances de los demás miembros del equipo.

Each member needs to do their share so that no one feels overburdened. In addition to clear expectations on contributions, your team also needs a clear sense of how everyone is expected to behave. Team members must feel safe speaking up, even if they are disagreeing.

There is no such thing as “Fair Decision Making “. Any dynamic requiring a decision comes down to one person; the decision maker. You can train the DM to be ethical, moral and keeping the best interest of the organization a priority. You can train the DM to listen objectively to all input and weigh all options carefully. In the end, after you have offered the best solution ( in your humble opinion) and the DM went a different way you probably feel the DM made the wrong choice and the process isn’t fair.
